The Never-ending Story
Mariae Nivis was born from the desire of the Freschi & Vangelisti family to restore the ancient building that was founded in 1567 thanks to the figure of Father Vincenzo Galassi – who wanted this place for girls from the village who had a vocation but no dowry. It was also built thanks to the funds of the very ancient Company of Our Lady of the Snow. The whole story is summed up in one word: Love.
A New Tomorrow
The building complex envisioned by Father Vincenzo Galassi and inhabited over the centuries by Saint Dominique’s nuns could not remain silent and empty.
